Piercings without parental consent in indiana?

i really want to get my tongue or belly button pierced...


except my parents are psycho


i have more than enough to get it done, i just need somewhere or someone in northwest indiana that will do it (of course without parental consent) or someone that has done it before to tell me how to do it.

Most studios or tattoo parlors that agree to pierce you underage are seedy, dirty, and not to be trusted. You should not do it yourself, especially tongue piercing. You could seriously damage or even kill yourself.





I would suggest waiting two years, until you%26#039;re legal. You need parental consent for a reason... also, you might change your mind by the time you are legally able to, and be thankful for the time you get to make your decision!





It doesn%26#039;t matter if you don%26#039;t get along with your parents. I mean, that really sucks and I%26#039;m sorry for you, but getting something on your body pierced (especially tongue or belly button) needs to be done at a respected studio, and good studios will never do underage piercings. It is not worth the possible complications, and you are so young. Just trust me, give yourself the two years until you are legally able to do it, and you will thank yourself for waiting.





AND you won%26#039;t have to sneak your piercing around your parents! If you got it done now, they would surely find out. If you already have a bad relationship with them, you sneaking behind their back with a piercing wouldn%26#039;t make it any better.





Just wait until you%26#039;re 18, it is honestly your best option even if you don%26#039;t see it that way right now.

Do it for you and it%26#039;s your body. It%26#039;s not your psycho parents. I mean yeah u live in there roof and u have to follow them. Eventually you will grow up and u won%26#039;t have to deal with them anymore. right?
Reply:piercings arent a big deal. its just a fad that will come and go. this is coming from a girl that has her bellybutton, wrist, nose, and nape pierced. just wait until youre 18. its seriously just a hole in our body. and dont do it yourself!!!! please please dont. and if you do find someone who will do it without parental consent... theyre probably really shady. you dont want people who arent accredited to be sticking needles in your body. i say its better to be safe than sorry. and just wait until your 18 to get it done safely. is it really that important that youd risk the health of your skin?

Reply:I strongly agree with Rach. She have given you some very good advise. I am pretty sure also that the law wouldn%26#039;t allow a minor to be pierced without parental consent. I also am very sorry that your home situation isn%26#039;t good. I really hope it gets better for you, but if it doesn%26#039;t hang in there. You only have 2 years to go before you are 18. Reply:wait until youre 18. if youre 16, you need it notarized and a parent or legal guardian with you. 4 weeks ago i got my belly button pierced. and any place that will do it without notarization or consent, is dirty and doesnt vlean their toold, dont use single use needles or use guns (which you cant clean). and do you really want a needle in you that was in other people? sorry but thats sick. and you cant do it yourself. the ring is curved (for belly button) and it may migrate so they pierce it in a way so when it does and heals properly its straight. as for your tongue, its the most painful. and i heard a girl say that it was more painful than childbirth without drugs. youre way better off on waiting a few years and keep it clean and safe, because if you ever have to close it, it will be more painful to repierce it and get infected. my friend pierced it by herself, and it got all nasty and now she still has it in but it looks weird. you can tell its messed up somehow. and a tongue piercing would be hard to hide from your parents
